The Irish Childhood Bereavement Network invites you to:
‘Working with adolescent grief’
A workshop with Professor Danai Papadatou.
This event is part of the network’s Dublin Regional Meeting and will explore techniques, tools and skills to support practitioners working with adolescents who are grieving. It will be held on May 30th, 2014 in the Alexander Hotel, Dublin 2.

Danai Papadatou is a Professor of Clinical Psychology at the Faculty of Nursing of the University of Athens. Her didactic and clinical experience, as well as her research interests and publications focus mostly on issues related to palliative care, bereavement, and disaster work. She is also the founder of “Merimna”, a non profit organization which provides bereavement support to children and their families as well as pediatric palliative home care services in Greece. She has received awards for her contribution in the field, and is an active member of the International Work Group on Death, Dying, and Bereavement, an organization of leaders in thanatology.
